The weekends will be in the Festival of British Archaeology fortnight, namely:
Starting time each day will be 9.30; finish at 4.00 pm. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. To make the most of the weekend you need to be reasonably physically fit. If you are below age 16, you should be accompanied by a responsible adult who has also signed up for the weekend. All tools will be supplied, including trowels. You will need to bring a sandwich lunch each day; tea, coffee and drinking water will be provided. Flushing toilets and wash basins are a 250 metre walk from the site. Wear suitable clothes that you donxt mind getting dirty, and strong footwear (preferably boots). There is a limit to the number of people we can accept on any one weekend, so, if you decide you want to come, please fill in the booking form and send it off promptly with a cheque for 50 GB Pounds (45 GB Pounds to WEAG members).
