General Information
The only access drive to Copped Hall is via the white 18th century gates on Crown Hill, south of the mansion. On Guided Tour Days the gates will be open between 10.00am and 11.00am only. On Open Days the gates will be open between 11.00am and 4.00pm only. The gates will be manned when Copped Hall is open. The lodges are privately owned and it is essential not to disturb the lodge owners for access.
These tours take place on the third Sunday every month exept December. Tours last about 2 hours 30 min - 3 hours and cover the whole of the gardens, a large part of the mansion, the cellars and the stables. Tours start from 10.15am and last entry is at 11.00am

20 January, 17 February, 17 March, 21 April, 19 May, 16 June, 21 July, 18 August, 15 September, 20 October, 17 November - there will be no guided tours in December.
Entry £7.00 per person.
Tea, coffee and homemade cakes are available in the Racquets Court where there is also a shop selling books about Copped Hall and a range of gift items. Second-hand books are on sale in the mansion. There are also permanent exibitionson site. At most times of the year, we sell seasonal fruit and vegetables from our Walled Kitchen Garden.

Gates are open from 2.00pm with last entry at 4.00pm. The car park closes at 5.00pm and is locked at 5.15pm. This is an opportunity to wander round the gardens at leisure in the afternoon and talk to our gardeners. A map with brief descriptions of the gardens is given out on arrival. Refreshments are available in the Racquets Court until 4.00pm. The Trust shop is open at the same time.

There is access to the whole of the gardens, parts of the mansion (room stewards), the cellars and the stables. Tea, coffee, homemade biscuits, cakes and lunch are available, as well as a bar selling alcoholic drinks. There are stalls and exhibitions, homemade and homegrown produce for sale, and the Trust shop is open.

Gates open 11.00am-4.00pm. Entry £7.00 per person.
Access to both gardens and mansion (room stewards) as for open days. Apple Day is a national annual celebration of our apple orchards and local distinctiveness, initiated by Common Ground in 1990. Join in the fun, play some traditional games, help with the juicing and have your own apples identified by our expert. There will be a display and apples for sale. There will also be entertainment, refreshments and bar, lunches, produce for sale and of course the Copped Hall Trust shop.
31 March 2013 Easter Sunday
Gates open at 2.00pm with last entry at 4.00pm. Entry: £3.50 per person, 50p per child taking part.
The car park will be closed at 5.00pm and locked at 5.15pm. Children can see the Easter bunny and join in an Easter egg hunt while adults enjoy the spring flowers. There will be tea/coffee and homemade cakes available until 4.00pm and the gift shop will be open until the same time.
Copped Hall may be visited throughout the year by special interest groups.
