The draw in the Racquets Court at 11.30am on the last Sunday of each month now has more flavour for the first prize exceeds £100, plus, should the winner be present, a bottle of wine.

Five Ifs to simple fundraising

IF you are online
IF you use a cash debit card
IF you shop at M&S, Sainsbury's, etc., etc.
IF you register at www.simplyfundraising.co.uk
IF you then use the issued cash debit

The Trust will receive around 3% of what you spend.
It's as simple as that.
I know, I do it.

St George log books donated

Following the article in a previous newsletter, the Trust has been donated four leather-bound log books for Mr E.J. Wythes’ yacht, the St George, covering voyages from 1891-95. We are extremely grateful for these log books which we will keep in safe storage until we have a secure and environmentally controlled archive room at Copped Hall.

Copped Hall Trust Shop

Sales in the Copped Hall Shop are progressing steadily and the various new items introduced recently are proving popular. We have some new notepads (£2), a very smart solid-metal trolley key ring with a Copped Hall engraving (£2) and a basic jotter pad (£1). In addition, the Copped Hall calendar for 2011 is now in stock (£5) as are the new-design Christmas cards (£5 for 10). The singlesheet outline history of Copped Hall, which costs 50p, is a runaway success, too.

Most visitors seem to like the fact that the shop provides a variety of goods from books on the history of Copped Hall, its grounds and the Walled Kitchen Garden to small mementoes of their visit. But Mollie and I are always on the lookout for other new items to stock so anyone with any ideas, please contact me.
