The Trust has been fortunate in that it has received a number of donations since the last newsletter. We have received an anonymous donation of £7,000 for various works to improve the south room. We have received a donation of £1,500 from Vic Knope (vice’ bedroom, which has been installed. Vic has also promised to fund the second shutter as well. Gordon Brown has financed the brickwork restoration in the Winter Garden. Judith and Johnathan Woodman have given £720 towards the purchase of 100 secondhand gilt chairs for our concerts in the saloon. We have received an anonymous donation of £3,000. We have also received £600 from Ida Westbrook for the firebacks in the saloon. This gift is in memory of her husband Arthur who sadly died last year. Arthur was a wonderful person who was a great help in the early days of our purchase of Copped Hall. All these donations attract gift aid. These donations mean that three of the items in the last Wish List have funded. I set out the list with a number of new items.
