Our regular newsletter, distributed to the Friends of the Copped Hall Trust, contains a Wish List. This list is comprised of a variety of items that contribute towards the restoration of our Mansion and Gardens. These items range from tools to be used by our volunteer gardeners, supporting the publication of the Newsletters, to architectural items such as new windows, Portland stone steps or stonework for the Winter Garden. Each item is associated with a suggested donation.

This Wish List has been a highly successful means of encouraging donations to progress our restoration objectives, for which we are enormously grateful. The Wish List changes on a regular basis. If you are interested in making a donation towards our restoration, please contact Alan Cox, our Chairman, on 07799 473108, who will be able to update you with our latest fundraising initiatives.

Two new volunteers have joined us to work in the gardens. Their work has included the resurrection of the bed beside the Wintergarden and some heavy digging on the north side of the Causeway.

Assistance required

• To level and strim the verge above the north ha ha beside the northern promenade.
• To fold and distribute leaflets advertising events.
• To assist with creating and printing leaflets.
• Take responsibility for growing tomatoes in the Walled Kitchen Garden.
• Take responsibility for growing melons in the Walled Kitchen Garden.
• To assist in the management of events.
• To assist with car parking.
