* NOTE: A Garden Afternoon will be held on 2nd August combined with the Teddy Bear’s Picnic. See separate event for details.

Gates are open from 2.00pm with last entry at 4.00pm. The park will close at 5.00pm and the car park will be closed at 5.15pm.

Cost

£7.00 per person when tickets are bought “In Advance” (before 10pm the previous evening) via Ticketsource.

£8.00 per person for tickets purchased on the day, on the door. Cash and card payments are accepted.

Friends of Copped Hall and Children Under 18 – Free. Tickets are required for entry.

Location

Gardens – including the Site of Earlier Houses and Walled Garden. The Mansion will be closed, except for access to the toilet facilities. Gardens are undulating/uneven lawn surfaces with some paths on a sloping site. The Walled Garden is also on a sloping site. There is very limited access currently for wheelchair users.

Description

Garden afternoons provide an opportunity to wander around at leisure and talk to our volunteer gardeners. A map with a brief description of the gardens is provided on arrival. Refreshments will be available. Our second-hand Book shop will be open as well as other items from the Copped Hall Shop for sale. Plants, seasonal fruit and vegetables may be available for sale from the Walled Garden. To be more environmentally friendly, if you interested in buying produce and plants from the Walled garden it would be appreciated if you could bring your own bags.
