Friends
The “Friends” were set up by the Trust in 1998 to enable people who care about Copped Hall to support the Trust and its objectives. Since 1998 the Friends have made a substantial contribution to both the restoration process (particularly the gardens) and the manning of events. There are now over 1500 friends.
By joining The Friends of the Copped Hall Trust, you can help secure the future of this important house and gardens. The Friends are supporters of the Copped Hall Trust and its objectives.

Chairman of the Friends
After 7 years of being Chairman of the Friends of the Copped Hall Trust, Louise Robertson has stepped down from the role.
Firstly, I would like to thank Louise for all her hard work during her time, serving in various roles on the FOCHT Committee.
I first discovered Copped Hall when I took part in an archaeology taster weekend over 8 years ago. I fell under the spell of Copped Hall, became a volunteer and have been involved in the project ever since. Many of you will already know me as I generally help at most events and am often seen dealing with card machines, running around with replacement loo rolls, directing traffic or clearing tables. I am also part of the Finance and Admin teams and, until recently, was the housekeeper for the mansion.
I am excited to have the opportunity to take on the position of Chairman of the FOCHT Committee and look forward to bringing my enthusiasm, drive and love for the project, to this role. I will be in touch in the near future with details with details of the Committee’s plans going forward and also how you can help us with them.
